Method of Recruitment and Qualification

Education officer

A). Deputation

By selection of person on deputation basis from a museum under the control of central/state Government or state legislature secretariats or central state public sector undertakings.

Master Degree in History from a recognized university with specialization in modern Indian History

Or

 Master Degree in Musicology/Heritage management from the recognized university Institute

And

03 years experience in a Museum under the control of central state Government or state legislature Secretariats or central /state public sector undertakings /Autonomous Bodies being conversant with various facets of Museum related work, including use of latest IT Techniques for planning and maintenance of museums

B) Direct Recruitment

Master Degree in History from a recognized university with specialization in modern Indian History

Or

 Master Degree in Museology / Heritage management from the recognized university Institute

And

03 years experience in a Museum being conversant with various facets of Museum related work, including use of latest IT Techniques for planning and maintenance of museums

Technical Assistant

A) Deputation

      Diploma in Electronics or computer science from a recognized university /Institute

And

02 years experience in operation, repair and maintenance of computers, projectors and other electronics equipments

B) Direct Recruitment

 Diploma in Electronics or computer science from a recognized university /Institute

And

02 years experience in operation, repair and maintenance of computers, projectors and other electronics equipments

Age limit: upper age limit 45 years for the post of Education officers & Technical assistant

Direct recruitment: Matriculation with Diploma in arts From Reco. University /Institution/Trade course Certificate

Age Limit: 18-27 years

Museum assistant: Matriculation with Experience of working in the relevant field

Age limit: 18-27 years
